For a person performing duties or missions in the Kingdom for the government of Thailand in accordance with the agreements which Thai Government has made with the foreign country's government involved

For Persons on Diplomatic Missions sent by a Foreign Government to perform duties in the Kingdom


Criteria of Consideration

  1. Holding Diplomatic Passport or Official Passport or United Nations Laissez-Passer obtained the appropriate visa or Visa Exemption in accordance with the agreements which Foreign Government has made with the Thai Government and
  2. Confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

List of Documents

  1. Application form
  2. Applicant’s passport and photocopies.
  3. Letter of confirmation and request for extension of temporary stay from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For Office Chiefs of International Organizations or International Departments performing duties in Thailand which are protected by law

For Consular parties and their employees sent by a Foreign Government to perform duties in the Kingdom


Criteria of Consideration

  1. – Holding Diplomatic Passport or Official Passport or United Nations Laissez-Passer obtained the appropriate visa or Visa Exemption in accordance with the agreements which Fore ign Government has made with the Thai Government or
    – Holding Ordinary Passport and obtained Non-Immigrant Visa Category “F”
  2. Confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

List of Documents

  1. Application form
  2. Applicant’s passport and photocopies.
  3. Letter of confirmation and request for extension of temporary stay from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For spouses or children under patronage or being a part of the household of persons as abovementioned reasons from 1-5

For a person which a foreign government has sent to perform duties or missions in the Kingdom with the approval of the Thai Government

Criteria of Consideration

  1. – Holding Diplomatic Passport or Official Passport or United Nations Laissez-Passer obtained the appropriate visa or Visa Exemption in accordance with the agreements which Forcign Government has made with the Thai Government or
    – Holding Ordinary Passport and obtained Non-Immigrant visa category “F” or
    – Holding Ordinary Passport and obtained Non-Immigrant visa category “O”
  2. Confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from The relevant government agency equivalent to or higher that department level

  2. Applicant’s passport and photocopies
  3. Letter of confirmation and request for extension of temporary stay issued by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by the relevant government agency equivalent to or higher than department level

For Private servants travelling from Foreign countries to work at the residence of the persons on Diplomatic Missions (as Mentioned in 1)

For a person performing duties or missions in the Kingdom for the governmet of Thailand in accordance with the agreements which Thai Government has made with the foreign country’s government involved


Criteria of Consideration

  1. – Holding Diplomatic Passport or Official Passport or United Nations Laissez-Passer obtained the appropriate visa or Visa Exemption in accordance with the agreements which Foreign Government has made with the Thai Government or
    – Holding Ordinary Passport and obtained Non-Immigrant visa category “F” or
    – Holding Ordinary Passport and obtained Non-Immigrant visa category “O”
  2. Confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from the relevant governmetn agency equivalent to or higher than department level.
